LED street light are used in many countries and overseas markets will be the driving force for future growth
Recently, India patna, chief deputy minister Sushil Kumar Modi said that as part of the state street light plan (SLNP), to save electricity, will soon be all municipal corporation in the state and local agencies to install the LED street light city.In addition, the government has been more focused on replacing traditional bulbs with LED street lights, which can save up to 9 billion kilowatts of electricity across the country.
Sushil Kumar Modi said:’’ The energy efficiency services limited (EESL), a joint venture between utilities in the public sector, will soon start installing new LED street lights in the state. A survey conducted by the EESL in Biharsharif city municipal corporation showed that installing LED street light would save the municipal agencies annual rs1.31 billion (13.4 billion yuan) annually.’’
In addition, in July, Chicago planned to replace 250, 000 pcs LED street lights in America's largest smart street lamp program. Ameresco, a renewable energy company, will work with Silver Spring Networks, a provider of Internet of things (IoT) solutions, to convert about 85 per cent of Chicago's existing street lights into smart LED street light in a four-year infrastructure modernisation programme.
The multi-stage infrastructure modernization program will begin in the summer of 2017, according to Smart Cities World.The new LED street lighting forecast can save 50 ~ 75% of the electricity from the existing street lamps.
The IPv6 platform of Silver Spring can control the switch street lamps remotely according to actual demand, and can also carry out active maintenance from remote monitoring, and can also speed up maintenance when the street lamp fails.
