Singapore plan the street lamp replacement into the LED street lamp before 2022

Singapore road traffic administration plans to replace street lamp with LED street light which more to save energy before 2022, and adopts a new remote monitoring system, according to the weather condition switch lamps.

According to the Singapore issued a proclamation, LED street Light compared with the currently general street Light, can save about 25% energy. Singapore pointed out that LED street light more reliable, change frequency is low, also helps to save energy and reduce manpower and maintenance costs.

Singapore authorities had launched two test plan, in parts of place test high power and general power of LED street light.Since 2013 began to change in some parts of the street light to LED street lamps, has about 4000 street lamp installation for LED street light.

The government of Singapore street lamp replacement program divided into three stages:

The first stage, the article will cover 500 low traffic and is located in the residential area of the road, plan to be completed by 2018.
